Elise is originally from Nashville, Tennessee.

As a kid, she grew up practicing dance and competitive gymnastics daily. During those years of training she experienced recurring injuries and imbalances in her body.

Years later, While pursuing dance professionally, She was introduced to Pilates as a way to help heal her body. She quickly began feeling more connected, stronger and able to trust her body to support her more than ever before. She knew from that point on that Pilates would always be a part of her life. Elise is excited to be a part of the community at Meliora Movement, and to have the opportunity to share her love of movement with others!

Her goal as Pilates instructor is to facilitate a fun and safe environment for people to create directed change in their bodies. A place to be curious, to learn, and to explore their own individuality in movement.

Elise is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), Graduate of Pilates from the Center School of Natural Movement in Vancouver Canada, Level 1 Franklin Method Educator and Graduate of The Kathy Grant Heritage Training led by Cara Reeser.
